Use A Training Cartridge As An ALWAYS-ON BORE SCOPE

Although most people have no problem adjusting sights using the flash from a training cartridge, some prefer to use an “always-on” or BORE SCOPE CARTRIDGE. Any of our training cartridges can be converted to “always on” for occasional sight alignment without going to the trouble or expense of purchasing a dedicated device. Just use a 1/4” loose-leaf hole punch (like the $2 Amazon ASIN B006K0OHJ4, below) to punch out some dots from kitchen foil (heavy-duty works best). Unscrew the cap from the cartridge, center a dot on the top battery to bypass the switch, and screw the cap back in place. Turn the laser on or off by tightening or loosening the cap. Be sure to remove the foil when the job is finished. A set of batteries will last about 5 minutes so, if you use this feature often, you may want to purchase some spare AG4’s on Amazon – about $5 for 15 pieces.
