I’m the proprietor of TARYAG, LLC. I’m an NRA Pistol Instructor and serve as armed security in my synagogue. I have become increasingly aware that iron sights and my aging eyes are no longer the best of friends. When I experimented with micro reflex red dot sights, it was immediately clear that this was the only responsible recourse for me in a room packed with people I know and love.

We searched diligently for a moderately priced reflex micro red-dot sight that had the features our customers would want, including

  • Light weight
  • Construction sturdy enough to withstand both pistol recoil and occasional rough handling
  • Absolute internal optical and electronic stability
  • Water and shock-proof circuitry
  • Resistance to moisture incursion
  • Long battery life
  • Crystal clear recticle image with adjustable size/brightness
  • Great ergonomics, including persistent size/brightness settings
  • Lifetime Warranted

After purchasing and comparing more than a dozen MOS sights – including several from Chinese vendors we have worked with and could have sold at a much lower price – we settled on this model. AT3’s ARO is hands-down superior to any the other samples we tried with respect to all the major criteria, including some at twice the price. I’ve practiced for hundreds of hours with this sight on various pistols and am confident that it will satisfy the most critical users.

About Reflex Sights

A reflex sight is one of three main types of red dot sights. It is so named because a small beam of light is projected back from the sight as the red dot for you to aim with.

There are two types of reflex sights: exposed reflex sights.like the model we offer here, and tube sights like the Vector offered elsewhere on this site.

An exposed reflex sight has only a single lens. Since it’s wide open with no eye relief, you can acquire your target very quickly with this type of sight.

A tube reflex sight has two lenses and looks more like a traditional small scope. The light is projected from the rear lens and reflected by the front lens. This type of sight is typical rail-mounted and built to withstand less careful handling.
